This commitment has seen the realization of various projects and exhibitions of contemporary art in recent years, which you can visit here: Samac NFT Collection. We wanted to continue this path with the creation of an exclusive NFT collection signed by Samac Parish, the short name of our parish community. With the contribution of Cristina Gozzi, digital graphic, and Chiara Marzaduri, graphic designer, Samac Parish, short name of the parish community, acts collectively and decided to create an Exclusive NFT Collection on Mintable.
Being the first religious-inspired community to do so, Samac arrived before many important artists and known figures. You can share and talk about Samac in SettimanaNews.it, an important Italian news and information site.
The project is a reinterpretation of Samac’s artistic heritage, with an updated message, and the expression of a living community that wants not only to draw on the past but to fully inhabit the whole contemporary. Thus, the oldest work Samac kept is from 1550, and the most recent is an NFT.
Five centuries ago it was “contemporary art”, now we consider it “classic”, but the interest in art is never over as it continues through digital art and projects into the future.
You can view the NFTs listed by Samac under these stores:
We are a young and vibrant parish community from Bologna, Italy. We walk together into a new era and towards a technological revolution. Our church preserves important masterpieces of classical art. Thanks to this spiritual and artistic heritage, for some years we have enriched our collection with works of contemporary art, street art and now we aim to do it with NFT. We wish to act not as a single artist, but as a collective of artists, who express the identity of our community. We are graphic web designers, painters, and various artists. Our first project is to link classical art to NFT tokens, and we have various other projects to be realized in our roadmap by the end of 2021.
Mintable is a next-generation non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace built on the Ethereum & Zilliqa blockchain. Launched in 2018, Mintable has pushed the NFT industry forward by being the first to design gasless minting, batch minting, and royalties, empowering artists and creators to monetize their work via NFTs. Mintable’s gas-free minting option allows the everyday person to get involved with NFTs without any prior knowledge in coding or upfront cost of minting an asset – a great way for everyone to get into crypto. In 2021, Mintable announced the backing of a list of high-caliber investors including renowned venture capitalist and television personality, Mark Cuban, Sound Ventures, the venture fund founded by Guy Oseary and Ashton Kutcher, and TIME Ventures, the investment fund for Marc Benioff. To date, Mintable has sold and auctioned works by Grammy-Award-winning artists, 20th-century avant-garde artists, and various high-profile artists and celebrities.
